When I first decided on the domain name, Net Marketing for Newbies, its purpose was to share my experience and subsequent knowledge about InterNET Marketing as well as NETwork Marketing.
I wanted to design a site for people who are relatively new to either industry and/or who want to better understand how to make these industries not so overwhelming. I envisioned a site that would point people in the right direction in terms of information that is basic and necessary — not readily found in one place — a site like I wish I had found 4 years ago when I came to the Internet in search of income.
Initially I was online applying for traditional jobs through various websites for job seekers. But I quickly found this to be mostly a waste of time — for ME. Aside from submitting my resume everywhere I could find to post it, I also began searching for ways to make money from home. Everything I found either cost money I didn’t have OR involved something I did not want to do, never mind the things I did find that I simply didn’t understand.
My first online exposure to Network Marketing came as a result of an email from someone I didn’t know (that would be known as SPAM or unsolicited email, for those who still don’t know what that terms means). It was an invitation to ‘CHANGE MY LIFE’, and at the time, something I desperately needed to do. While I learned A LOT from that particular company in terms of the overall Network Marketing business model, I have since stopped promoting that business opportunity and its products. Instead, I am working on a few other business ventures that you can find on the right menu.
Since I want to be able to guide ‘newbies’ using resources I have personally found to be beneficial, I highly recommend the NEW School of Network Marketing, a community that didn’t exist when I got started in Network Marketing 4 years ago. This is an excellent starting point for people who are either new to Network Marketing, want no-hype information about the industry, and/or who are interested in learning how to ‘do the business’ better.
People can register to be a free member of Network Marketing Central (NMC) to take advantage of the Listening Bar and Reading Nook, as well as sign up for Kim Klaver’s Blog (delivered by FeedBurn). But if you really want to harness the power of NMC, become a showcased member like ME. The information I have learned at NMC has helped me get clear about what I’m doing and WHY I am still a Network Marketer.
Be my guest on our weekly calls on Wednesdays at 5:30PM Pacific, 6:30PM Mountain, 7:30PM Central, 8:30PM Eastern by calling 712.945.1601, and then key in the Access Code: 564758#. This is an interactive call, so if you have background noise going on and you are not going to say anything, press Star 6 (*6) to mute your line. These calls are normally recorded. In fact, if you go to the Listening Bar (after you’ve registered, of course) you can find some of the previously recorded calls.
Remember, this is a community of Network Marketers who are committed to learning how to do their particular business better and find more customers. It is NOT a place to recruit other people into your business. And in case you miss it when you join: “[Y]ou agree never to solicit anyone showcased on this site for any product, service or business, or anything else. Anyone reported soliciting will be blocked from access to this site, and will be identified and roasted on the home page.”
Everything I have learned from Kim Klaver in the past 6 months has been such a ‘breathe of fresh air’. Why not join us?
